BEC sets up our first China Representative Office in Beijing in April 2007. The Beijing Representative Office helps to promote BEC's nation-wide impact on arousing environmental awareness in mainland China. This will also offer our Hong Kong and overseas partners as a reliable and professional platform to access China.
The Beijing Representative Office provides a new nation-wide platform for large, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) accessing China by partnering with China Environmental Culture Promotion Association of the State Environmental Protection Administration. It also offers onsite support and partnership opportunities for BEC members, and promotes BEC’s services and initiatives as mainland interest in the environment and sustainability grows.
