Managing Director, Fook Tin Group Holdings Ltd
Professor John Chai is Managing Director of Fook Tin Group Holdings Ltd. and a Member of the Supervisory Board of its wholly owned subsidiaries - Terraillon SAS (France), Scaime SAS (France) and Arpege Master K SAS (France). He received the degrees of Master of Jurisprudence and Doctors of Law from Loyola University Chicago, Master of Science from Northwestern University. As a qualified medical health care professional, he has also been awarded fellowship to several professional organizations. He is presently a Professor Emeritus of Northwestern University.
Established in 1963, Fook Tin specializes in design, manufacturing, marketing and the global distribution of professional magnitude sensors, consumer, commercial, industrial and medical scales, health care and medical devices, and electronic appliances. Professor Chai has been instrumental in improving Fook Tin's financial, legal, research and corporate management. Under his direction, Fook Tin's integrated management system was qualified to the standards of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and Fook Tin is the first company in the world to be certified with IECQ QC 080000 HSPM (an International Electrotechnical Commission Quality Assessment Scheme for Electronic Components Industry) in 2006.
Mr David Crighton
Director - Generation, CLP Power Hong Kong Limited
Mr David Crighton is responsible for the operation and maintenance of Castle Peak Power Company Limited (CAPCO) generation facilities at Castle Peak, Black Point and Penny's Bay Power Station in Hong Kong. CAPCO is the Joint Venture Company owned by CLP Holdings and ExxonMobil for the purpose of supplying electricity to Hong Kong. In addition to managing the CAPCO generating assets he also manages CLP’s interests in the Guangzhou Pumped Storage Power Station in the Chinese mainland.
Prior to CLP he worked for a number of UK based companies including; Shell Tankers, the Central Electricity Generating Board and National Power.
Mr Daniel Cheng
Managing Director, Dunwell Enviro-Tech (Holdings) Limited
Mr Daniel Cheng is the Managing Director of Dunwell Enviro-Tech (Holdings) Ltd with areas of business ranging from the collection and recycling of spent oil, blending and marketing of lubricating oil products, design and installation of advanced vibrating membrane systems and other waste water management systems, to the provision of used oil analysis service.
It was due to Mr Cheng's commitment and success of the environmental business that he was selected as winner of The Young Industrialist Awards of HK 1995, Innovative Entrepreneur of 1996 and Hong Kong Ten Outstanding Industrial Engineers Award in 1999. With continuous effort in pursuing better quality and environmental protection, Dunwell received the IChemE Environment Award in London, UK, becoming the first Hong Kong Company winning the IChemE Award in 2006. In 2005, Dunwell received the Grand Award of the HK Award for the Industry: Machinery and Equipment Design and same year the Grand Award - the Diamond Award for the 1st SME Living Business Awards, organized by HSBC. In the past, Dunwell was awarded the 1997 HK Awards for Industry: HKPC Productivity Award. In 1998, Dunwell received the Best Managed SME Gold Award.
Mr Paul Leech
Head of International, Asia-Pacific, HSBC
Mr Paul Leech is currently Head of International, at HSBC's Asia Pacific Headquarters in Hong Kong. He is also the Chairman of HSBC Bank (Mauritius) Limited, Chairman of HSBC Bank (Vietnam) Limited, Director of HSBC Global Asset Management (Hong Kong) Limited and Supervisor of HSBC Bank (China) Company Limited.
As part of his role at HSBC, he is engaged with country CEOs in setting up local corporate sustainability projects throughout Asia Pacific.
In Oct 2004, he was granted Honorary Citizenship of Taipei in recognition of The Bank's conservation work particularly with the Taipei City government under then Mayor Ma.
Mr Edmond Ho

Mr Edmond Ho is the Managing Director of Kowloon Motor Bus Company (1933) Limited. KMB, with a fleet of over 4,000 buses plying on some 400 routes, is one of the largest privately owned and operated bus companies in the world and the flagship of the TIH Group.
KMB recognises the potential environmental impact of its services and is committed to mitigating and minimising such impact through a wide range of environment-friendly measures and practices. The Company has consistently pioneered the introduction of the latest Euro standard buses into Hong Kong and has installed devices such as catalytic converters and Diesel Particulate Filters in older buses to improve their environmental performance. The entire KMB fleet is run on ultra-low sulphur diesel and is kept in top operating condition through a rigorous maintenance programme.
In other areas of its operations, KMB has also demonstrated its commitment to environmental care through ISO 14001 certification of its main depots and the adoption of "green office" standards and practices. It has won a number of environmental performance awards, including the Green Innovative Practice Gold Award and the Green Office Merit Award (Large Organisations) in the 2002 Hong Kong Eco-Business Awards, the award for "Innovation Towards a Better Environment" at the UITP Asia Pacific Congress in 2002 and the Business Environment Council's Environmental Performance Award in 2003.
Dr Kelvin Wong

Dr Kevin Wong has more than 23 years of working experience in management, banking and securities industries. He held various senior positions in several listed companies in Hong Kong before he joined the COSCO in July 1996. He is responsible for the overall management, strategic planning, financial management and investor relations. Dr Wong obtained his Master of Business Administration degree from Andrews University in Michigan, the USA in 1992 and his Doctor of Business of Administration degree from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2007.
Currently, Dr Wong is Chairman of the Corporate Governance Committee and fellow member of The Hong Kong Institute of Directors, Chairman and council member of the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra Limited, a member of the China Trade Advisory Committee of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, a member of the Auditing and Assurance Standards Committee of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a member of the OECD/World Bank Asian Corporate Governance Roundtable, a member of Main Board and GEM Listing Committee of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, a member of The Board of Review (Inland Revenue Ordinance). He is also an Independent Non-executive Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of China Metal International Holdings Inc, an Independent Non-executive Director of CIG Yangtze Ports PLC, and an Independent Non-executive Director of I.T Limited, all of these companies are listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.
Mr Chris Chan

Mr Chris Chan is Public Affairs (PA) Director for Corporate Communications, Asia Pacific Manufacturing & Engineering and Mega Projects, The Dow Chemical Company.
Mr Chan joined Dow in Hong Kong as PA Director for the Pacific Area in February 2000. He was named PA director for Greater China in July 2004, following the establishment of the Greater China region as a dedicated growth region within Dow. He assumed additional responsibilities for Asia Pacific in April 2006. As PA Director for Dow Asia Pacific and Greater China, he was responsible for Dow's public affairs strategies and activities in the region. Chan was named Global Business PA Director for Dow Epoxy & Specialty Chemicals in March 2008 and was appointed Business PA director for Performance Products & Systems, Asia Pacific Manufacturing & Engineering and Mega Projects in June 2009. He assumed his current position in February 2010.
Prior to joining Dow, he held public affairs leadership positions in a number of multinational corporations and local conglomerates including IBM China/Hong Kong, Ericsson China and CLP Power.
Mr Chan holds an honors diploma in Communications from the Hong Kong Baptist College and an MBA from the University of Hull, United Kingdom.
Mr W. K. Lo
Head - Corporate Investment & Investor Relations, The Hong Kong & China Gas Company Limited
Mr W.K. Lo is the Treasurer of The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited, a gas utility listed in Hong Kong with Turnover of over HK$13.4 billion in 2006. He has experience in the utilities business and finance for more than 24 years. Mr Lo had worked in various functional areas of the Finance Division of the Company, including Audit, Supplies and Treasury departments. Mr Lo has been in charge of the Treasury Department of the Company since 1997. The portfolio includes financial risk management, financing, banking and investment for the Company as well as overseeing the retirement schemes of the Company. He is responsible for the overall effective and efficient management of the funding for the group.
Mr Michael Arnold
Advisor, Hongkong Land Limited of Jardine Group
Chairman, BEAM Society
Mr Michael Arnold is a senior executive with over 40 years experience in the property industry and more than 30 of those years were spent in Asia. He is now retired but remains an advisor of the Hongkong Land Company since 2002. He has established Arnco Ltd in 2002, which provides advisory services to the property industry to companies in Asia, Middle East and Europe. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Public, Private and NGO companies.
Mr Arnold is also the Chairman of BEAM Society. The Society is the founder and owner of the Building Environmental Assessment Method - currently the mostly recognised voluntary initiative to measure, improve and label the environmental performance of buildings in Hong Kong.
Mr Lee Kwok Tung
General Manager - Engineering and Planning Department, Modern Terminals Limited
Mr K.T. Lee joined Modern Terminals Limited as Deputy Engineering Manager since 1994 and was promoted to General Manager of Engineering & Planning Department in 2006. He mainly oversees the planning, design, acquisition and maintenance of all facilities and equipment for container terminals in Hong Kong and China. In supporting the various environmental protection campaigns initiated by private organizations and government bodies, he formed the Environmental Committee in Modern Terminals in 2006 and became the first Chairman.
Under Mr Lee's leadership, he promotes the adoption of Hybrid-system Rubber-tyred Gantry Cranes to reduce air emissions in Modern Terminals' businesses in Hong Kong and China. In addition, he introduces numerous energy saving devises and measures, which reduce lighting and air conditioning energy consumption.
Mr Daniel Ng
Director, Shell Hong Kong Limited
Mr Daniel Ng joined Shell in 1986 as Marketing Economics and Planning Analyst. After that, he spent most of his time in the retail business where he developed his expertise in marketing, advertising, sales promotions and retail operations. In 1999 Mr Ng was promoted to General Manger of Retail with responsibility for overall retail sales and operations in Hong Kong, and in 2004 he moved to Beijing to serve a similar role as General Manager of Retail for China. His most recent position was Country Programme Manager in Hong Kong, to which he was appointed in 2006.
Mr Ng was appointed as Director of Shell Hong Kong Limited in early 2008, overseeing retail businesses in Hong Kong and Macau as Retail – General Manager.
Mr Frankie Yick
Director, Wharf Limited
Mr. YICK Chi Ming, Frankie, has been a Director of Wharf Limited since February 2007. He is responsible for overseeing the investor relations, corporate communications and community affairs functions of the Wharf group. Mr. Yick is also the Managing Director of The “Star” Ferry Company, Limited responsible for the day-to-day operations of this icon of Hong Kong. Mr. Yick has also been appointed as Director of Modern Terminals Limited and Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals, Limited since August 2006.
Mr. Yick is a Chartered Engineer. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering and a Master Degree in Industrial Management. Prior to joining Wharf as the Director & General Manager of its public transport arm in June 1994, Mr. Yick has gained a broad range of industrial and management experience in various senior management positions in sizeable U.S. multi-national manufacturing companies in Hong Kong.
Mr. Yick was a member of the Election Committee for the election of legislative council members in 2001 and the Chief Executive of HKSAR in 2002. He was re-elected again in 2006 to serve as a member of the Election Committee for the election of the Chief Executive of HKSAR in 2007.
Mr Simon Wong
General Manager - Engineering, Hongkong International Terminals Limited
Mr. Simon Wong is responsible for the Engineering matters of Hutchison Ports in Hong Kong and South China. He is an alumini of the University of Hong Kong and a Chartered Engineer, both in mechanical and electrical engineering. Within HIT, he is the Chairman of the Environmental Steering Committee and a member of the Safety Steering Committee.
Mr Martin Putnam
Corporate Environmental Manager, Airport Authority Hong Kong
Mr Martin Putnam is responsible for developing and implementing corporate environmental strategy at Hong Kong International Airport. He coordinates environmental compliance and manages business environmental risk areas including air emissions and aircraft noise, water quality, marine ecology and new development environmental impact assessment.
He is tasked with championing environmental best practices across the airport business community with the key objectives being to minimize the airport’s environmental footprint and to maximize energy and resource use efficiencies.
He has a Bachelor Degree in Environmental Science and a Master Degree in Marine Resource Management. He sits on the Hong Kong Government’s Marine Mammal Conservation working group and is Regional Representative for Asia Pacific on the Airport Council International World Environment Standing Committee.
Mr T C Yee
General Manager - Corporate Development, Hongkong Electric Company, Limited
Mr Yee joined Hongkong Electric Group after graduation, working primarily on local and overseas power project management and construction. He took up a management role in investments outside Hong Kong for the Group between 2005 and 2008.
At present, he is leading 3 separate teams in Planning & Regulation, Environmental Affairs and Energy & Performance. His main responsibility covers regulatory business and initiatives, sustainable strategic developments, and power plant fuel management. He is a Registered Professional Engineer and a corporate member of The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers , The Institution of Engineering & Technology UK, and The Institution of Engineers Australia respectively.
