Corporate Social Responsbility (CSR)
Our recent CSR projects include assisting Hong Kong Exchange and Clearing Ltd to carry out a review of its CSR policies and practices, Hongkong Land to undertake an EHS review and CSR Roadmap; development of HSBC’s Living Business Program; and Jebsen & Co’s Environmental and Social performance check and implementation of CSR initiatives.
Environmental and Sustainability
Our Environmental and Sustainability projects include the preparation of the Environmental, Health and Safety Report for Swire Properties, verification of Sustainability Reports for Gammon Construction, development of Sustainability Indicators for The Chinese University of Hong Kong, verification of Environmental Report and Provision of Recommendations for Wonderland Villas, Hong Yip Service and joint production with EPD of the introductory Corporate Environmental Reporting booklet, which was the first of its kind in Hong Kong.
Habour Business Forum (HBF)
Recent HBF projects include various research initiatives such as Guidelines for a Sustainable Harbour, Victoria Harbour: An Economic Asset Not Fully Released, Harbour Values Study, An Evaluation of Kai Tak Stage 3 Public Opinion Survey, Review of Central Reclamation, Waterfront and Harbour Geographic Information System Audit and My Harbour Design Competition.
Waste Management
Recent waste management projects include a Waste Survey for Hong Kong Beverage Association and various research projects for Environmental Protection Department such as Waste Separation and Recovery Modes Study, Waste Separation Guidebook and input for Municipal Solid Waste Charging Trial Scheme in Hong Kong.

Sustainable Tourism Initiatives
Recent Sustainable Tourism initiatives include Hong Kong’s Great Outdoors Guide-Map, Discovering Green Heritage Tourism conference, Post-tsunami relief press conference and media tour to affected areas, development of guidelines for development of sustainable facilities and Executive Programs on Sustainable Tourism for future tourism managers at Chinese University of Hong Kong.
BEAM Green Building Labelling Certified Developments
Since BEAM's inception in 1996, BEC has been the only BEAM assessor. So far BEC has certifiied over 100 property developmetns covering some 70 million square feet of floor area and including over 37,000 residential units.
