Commitment to Environmental Protection
"As a responsible corporate citizen, we are very concerned about environmental protection," said Thomas Chuang. "LTK has a formal environmental policy to control the impact of their operations on the environment. It also carries out life-cycle assessments (LCA) on all its products to ensure the environmental impact throughout the products' life-cycle is reduced to a minimum."

Excellence in Employee Management
LTK puts great emphasis on employee management, training and benefits. "Employees are an important asset of LTK. The company can only advance if we retain and provide opportunities for good performing staff," Chuang said. LTK allocates resources to help promote the well-being of its employees and their family members, such as providing medical insurance for staff members and their spouses, establishing scholarships for their children and inviting family members to join the company's recreational activities.

Achievements in Community Development
LTK actively participates in a number of volunteer services. It has a close collaboration with the Boys' & Girls' Association of Hong Kong and the Red Cross. Additionally, the company provides cash and in-kind donations to various non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and sponsors a variety of community programs and services.

Overall management Quality and Effectiveness
LTK implements a supply chain management policy to monitor the environmental and social performance of its suppliers. It does not only conduct on-site audits, but also provides suppliers with in-house training to raise their awareness of environmental and legal requirements. LTK regularly sends out questionnaires in order to collect customers' feedback on its products. The company also actively shares its experience and knowledge with other companies in the industry.

Benefits from These Initiatives
"By practising corporate responsibility, not only have we gained valuable personnel assets and a good reputation as the company is recognised and praised by the public, but we have also created a positive influence on raising morale and a sense of belonging among staff," said Thomas Chuang, Director of LTK International Ltd.
