Corporate sustainability is a new and evolving corporate management model and it is an alternative to the traditional growth and profit-maximization model. While corporate sustainability recognizes corporate growth and profitability are important, it also requires the corporation to pursue societal goals, especially those relating to sustainable development – environmental protection, social justice and equity, and economic development.

The Corporate Sustainability Guide is one of the projects initiated by the Working Group on Sustainable Development and supported by BEC. It contains information on the key elements in corporate sustainability and links to readily tools, guidelines and other useful resources from local and overseas sources.
