Organization Profile
Asia Pacific Green Lighting Institute is a non-government, non-profit making organization advocating green lighting with a view to reducing energy consumption, improving air quality and enhancing the quality of lighting in the Asia Pacific Region. Members comprise corporations, professionals and students who are interested in promoting the environmental and economic benefits of green lighting through public education, policy lobbying and technology innovation. The Institute is based in Hong Kong with members from countries all over the Asia Pacific Region.

Representative Biography
Dr. Murphy Ho is a Visiting Professor of the City University of Hong Kong conducting various seminars related to high-tech IT developments. Before current posts, Dr. Ho worked with CyberArt Technologies Pte Limited as Vice President where he leaded a team of engineers for the development of both hardware and software solutions for smart home and property management. As guest speaker of HKPC (Hong Kong Productivity Council) and HKU SPACE (Hong Kong University School of Professional And Continuing Education), Dr. Ho also conducted numerous talks and seminars related to high-tech product and services.
Dr. Ho holds a B.S. and M. Phil. degree in Electronics from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Ph.D. degree in Neural Networks and Signal Processing from the Keio University of Japan. Dr. Ho was listed in Who's Who in the World 1999.
