Founded in 1933, Hang Seng Bank is a principal member of the HSBC Group. It operates around 150 branches and automated banking centres and 13 Business Banking Centres in Hong Kong. The Bank also has a branch in Shenzhen for foreign currency wholesale business, a branch in Macau and representative offices in Xiamen and Taipei.
Established on 28 May 2007, wholly owned subsidiary Hang Seng Bank (China) Limited operates a mainland China network of 18 outlets in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Dongguan, Shenzhen, Fuzhou and Nanjing.

Representative Biography
Mrs Dorothy K Y P Sit began her career with The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited in 1976 after receiving her Master of Business Administration degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Mrs Sit worked in a variety of positions in retail banking, operations and systems, mainland China project finance, products and services development, marketing, savings and retail investments. She was appointed Senior Executive Deputy Head of Personal Financial Services in 2002, with responsibility for customer service and sales delivery in Hong Kong.
In January 2004, Mrs Sit was appointed Head of Personal Financial Services, Hong Kong, with responsibility for overseeing The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited's personal financial services development in Hong Kong. She was appointed Director of Bank of Shanghai in 2004-2005.
Mrs Sit joined Hang Seng Bank in December 2005 as General Manager. She was appointed Chief Operating Officer in January 2006, and Director of Hang Seng Bank (China) Ltd in June 2007.
