Structure of HBF
The Patrons Committee serves as HBF's Board and retains overall directional and policy control. It comprises Patron Member representatives and is responsible for guiding the progress of the Forum.
The Executive Committee (EXCO) comprises of representatives of the Patrons Committee, the chairpersons of the Best Practice and External Relations and Communications committees, and oversees the day-to-day management of the Harbour Business Forum. It is responsible for strategy development, as well as approval of project funding.
External Relations and Communications Committee (ERCC) functions as an advisory body that provides support and guidance on the external relations and communications issues of the Forum.
Best Practice Committee (BPC) is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the research agenda and engaging the Harbour Business Forum membership in the preparation of position papers.
The Secretariat based at the Business Environment Council (BEC) coordinates the implementation of the Harbour Business Forum's work and communication plans. It provides support to the Patrons, Executive and working committees, and ensures the effective and smooth operation of the Forum. Members of the Secretariat include:
