The Prince of Wales' Business and the Environment Programme (BEP) is designed for senior executives. Organized by the University of Cambridge, this program offers access to a faculty of thought leaders on business and sustainability, and interaction with delegates who are themselves primarily senior executives from global companies that are leading the next phase of corporate development. BEC is privileged to be appointed as the only representative for admission in Asia. BEC members are exclusively entitled to 10% discount through registration with us.
BEP seminars are held six times in 2008 in various cities and bring together Senior Executives (not CSR nor environmental practitioners) from various organizations to participate in a four-day seminar to discuss the strategic planning and issues of long-term business sustainability.
Attending BEP will provide the delegates with an unparalleled understanding of the social, political, environmental as well as the economic context in which their organization now operates. The intensive four-day seminar not only brings together a world renowned core faculty, but also a collection of respected keynote speakers, that can facilitate the understanding and development of business policies that will bring about convergence between profitability and sustainability.
In order to participate in the BEP seminars, one must be nominated either by their company or a third party organization, and submit an application for review by the programme's Selections Committee. The committee will choose 45 strong senior level officials to attend each BEP seminar ensuring a high calibre and diverse group of business leaders participate. A degree of priority will be given to applications from Hong Kong and China to aid in creating a global view of the issue.
Schedule of the coming seminars are as follows:
