Green Collar: Achieving Healthy, Productive and Sustainable Workplaces
EnviroSeries Conference to build concensus on reducing corporate ecological footprint
You are cordially invited to attend the Green Collar - Achieving Healthy, Productive and Sustainable Workplaces, a conference about empowering business leaders and building capacity to deliver sustainability at work. Local and overseas speakers gathered to build consensus on emerging trends, practical insights and success stories of reducing the ecological footprint of their organizations. This is the first 2007 conference of EnviroSeries hosted by the Business Environment Council (BEC).
We spend 40 to 50% of our time at workplace and perhaps half of our corporate spending on maintaining our workplace as well as workforce. This Green Collar conference aims to offer one-stop access to the latest skills, management systems and solutions to help you create and achieve a healthy, productive and sustainable workplace and workforce, harvesting unexpected environmental and social benefits while increasing competitiveness and stakeholder value.”
At the conference fourteen policy maker, business leaders and experts in the industry will talk about the emerging trends, practical insights and success stories of reducing the ecological footprint of their organizations and will share their measures specifically on waste management, carbon reduction, indoor air quality, energy efficiency and benchmarking.
Featuring keynote speakers Mr S K Ho, Chief Engineer of Energy Efficiency Office, Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, HKSAR Government, Ms Robyn Joseph, Director, EcoVision Asia Ltd, and Mr Robert Gibson, Director Sustainable Development of John Swire & Sons Limited, they will highlight topics on reducing the ecological footprint at the corporate level.
