BEC members joined Sustainability in Practice of Li & Fung at Shatin.
23 participants joined the BEC membership visit to the LiFung Centre to observe sustainable practices of Li & Fung Group on 17 August 2011.
The visit started with a greeting from Mr Edwin Coseteng, Executive Vice President and then Ms Pamela Mar, Project Director, who gave an overview of Sustainability in Li & Fung Group. Mr Adrian Chiu, Senior Project Manager then talked briefly about implementation of sustainability in Li & Fung Global Offices and Distribution Networks, specifically on green features and facilities certified to a LEED Gold standard.
The participants toured around the gold LEED certified office and well-managed warehouses led by Mr Chiu and his fellow colleagues. It was a great opportunity for the guests to see the features and facilities as well as experience the sustainability implemented in Li & Fung Group.
