Fook Tin is the first IECQ QC080000 HSPM certified company
We are proud to announce that BEC's General Member, Fook Tin Technologies Ltd., is certified as the first IECQ QC080000 HSPM company complied with both Green Process Supplier and Manufacturing Systems and the European Directive 2002/95/EC RoHS requirements in January 2006.
International Electrotechnical Commission Quality Assessment System for Electronic Components (IECQ) QC080000 HSPM is an international certified system qualifies to suppliers who are able to demonstrate their ability to control and manage design activities, their supply chain, materials management, and manufacturing process through implementation and maintainence of Hazardous Substance Process Management (HSPM) for hazardous-substance-free (HSF) Electrical and electronic components and assemblies that meet specific local, national and international requirements.
Fook Tin's efforts in IECQ QC080000 HSPM include the development of procedures and effective implementations of Hazardous Substances Process Management complied with RoHS and Green Process Supplier and Manufacturing Management System:
1. Green Supply Chain Management
Regular communicate, review and audits on vendors to ensure the materials supplied meet with the requirements of RoHS and other legal or customers' requirements.
2. Green Production Process Management
Set up Hazardous Substance Management program, solution and Procedure to control and monitor both products design and production processes.
3. Green Product Design Management
Every New Product development processes is systematically planned, tested, measured and reviewed of the product life; characteristics; using safety; power consumption; production capability; easy disassembly; hazardous substances; recycle or reuse or regeneration percentage; product package and transportation; end-of-life waste treatment phases, etc.
