BEC Clients Gain Recognition at the 2006 Green Building Awards

Environmental excellence in building design, management, renovation and research was recognized on 30 June 2006 by the inaugural Hong Kong Green Building Awards.

All in all the BEC was involved in no less than 18 of the 55 award entries, mostly through the provision of services in HK-BEAM[1] Green Building Labeling and technical research and development. BEC is proud to congratulate all of its clients on their significant achievements, in particular the seven winners of Grand Awards and Merits in the New Buildings, Existing Buildings and Research and Planning Categories:

  • Redevelopment of Upper Ngau Tau Kok Estate Phase 2&3 (Hong Kong Housing Authority)

[1] HK-BEAM, the Hong Kong Building Environmental Assessment Method, is Hong Kong voluntary scheme to measure, improve and label the environmental sustainability of buildings in their planning, design, construction, commissioning, operation, maintenance and management.
