Programs through partnership form the very cornerstone of BEC. As a leading advocate of the business case for sustainable development, we realise that we cannot work alone. An important part of our work is to build consensus and facilitate action by working with government, business and community bodies locally in Hong Kong, mainland China and internationally. Our support for the growing movement towards sustainable development continues to help connect different stakeholders.
Our programs have spanned all economic sectors: banking and finance, travel and tourism, manufacturing and trading, import and export, hotel and restaurant, property, construction, and others. By working together with our network of partners, we keep each other informed of latest trends, technologies and management practices both in Hong Kong and overseas.
We work with the government, business and community organisations to address environmental and sustainability concerns, with the overall objective of improving performance, and moving Hong Kong towards sustainable development. Annually, we host and support some 50 programs including our flagship EnviroSeries conferences and Eco-Products Award.
BEC's partners embrace the network from international, mainland China and local Hong Kong. We work together to promote sustainable development in Hong Kong and respective regions through our wide spectrum of environmental programs. More program collaboration opportunities are welcome to magnify our network extension and sustainable pursuit.
