Agnes joined BEC in January 2011 with a wealth of business and management experience from working in senior management positions with major local and overseas companies.
Since joining BEC, Agnes has been spearheading the implementation and execution of the strategies and directions set by the BEC Board of Directors. One of the major projects is leading the exciting BEC Headquarters Transformation Project which is to promote green technologies and building energy efficiency by transforming the headquarters into an iconic showcase as well as an Education and Resources Centre.
Agnes holds a Master Degree in Science and a Bachelor Degree in Social Sciences. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) and a Director of the Hong Kong Green Building Council.

Ir Leung has been an assessor for the Building Environmental Assessment Method (BEAM) since 2007. Currently the Head of Building and Energy Efficiency and Indoor Air Quality Solutions Centre with the Business Environment Council, his duties include green building assessment, carbon audit, energy efficiency program, indoor environmental quality consultancy etc. A practicing environmental engineer, he has been involving in more than 100 building-related projects, ranging from large private and public housing estates, commercial offices, shopping centres, hospitals to university buildings.
Ir Leung helped the development of BEAM Plus Standard and currently delivers BEAM Pro Training. He is also a Chartered Engineer, Chartered Environmentalist, Chartered Water & Environmental Manager and Certified Carbon Auditor Professional.

Suzanne has more than 14 years experience in environmental management field, particularly in waste management, green purchasing, environmentally preferable product development and promotion. With her specialization in environmental assessment, environmental research and survey studies, environmental education, awareness promotion and training, waste management, environmental impact assessment (EIA), environmental planning, environmental study as well as environmental monitoring and audit (EM&A), she is currently spearheading the Environmental Management Team of BEC to provide support to the business community on sustainability issues. Suzanne holds a Master degree in Environmental Science and Technology and a Bachelor degree (Hons) in Environmental Science.

Rachel Fleishman leads the CCBF secretariat team. She provides strategic direction and operational oversight in pursuit of CCBF’s mission to better prepare the Hong Kong business community for the advent of climate change.
Rachel has a broad background in business, public policy and non-profit management. She has built and managed programs in the US Department of Defense, Capitol Hill, NATO, the Sprint Corporation, the American Chamber of Commerce to the EU (AmCham EU), the Clinton Global Initiative (Asia) and several non-profit voluntary organizations. A committed advocate of protecting the planet (and thus the rest of us), she strives to incorporate environmentalism into everything she does.
Early in her career Rachel helped develop and run the Environmental Security program at the Pentagon, which included organizing several environmental working groups at NATO and directing the first US government conferences on Environment, Security and Intelligence. Later, as Policy Director at AmCham EU in Brussels, she helped build consensus within the US business community on critical environmental issues such as the REACH chemicals legislation and inclusion of aviation in the European ETS.
Rachel earned a Bachelors Degree from Tufts University, a Masters in Public Management from the School of Public Affairs, University of Maryland and an MBA from Kellogg at Northwestern. She has been recognized in several Young Leaders’ programs, and is the co-author of a play entitled ‘Otherhood.’

Brenda administers the day-to-day operation and activities of the Harbour Business Forum (HBF). She also helps with membership communications, event coordination, research, newsletter, website development and monitoring press coverage of overall harbour and climate change development.
Prior to joining HBF, Brenda worked in waste management, specializing in solid and liquid waste. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Brigham Young University, the United States and a Master degree in Environmental Studies from the Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.

Ivan is responsible for BEC's financial strategy, budgeting control, accounting, information technology and personnel information management. He serves as company secretary for BEC and also manages the overall leasing, facilities and maintenance of the Jockey Club Environmental Building.
Prior to joining BEC, Ivan has over 10 years of management level working experience with multinational companies responsible of financial management of their subsidiaries in Hong Kong, mainland China, Asia Pacific, US and Europe.

Nelson is a Building Environmental Assessment Method (BEAM) assessor at BEC. He evaluates environmental performance of buildings from all aspects, including site selection, materials used, energy efficiency to water use and indoor environment quality. He is currently involved in projects such as Tamar Central Government Complex, Tuen Mun Residential Training Complex for Juveniles, Kowloon Bay MegaBox and The Central Park of Lohas Park in Tseung Kwan O.
Prior to joining BEC, he has worked in an Australian based multinational engineering consultancy firm as a Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and environmental sustainable design (building) engineer. He is experienced in using Australian Green Star and the National Australian Built Environment Rating System (NABERS) to access buildings.
He holds a Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering (by research) from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University. He is also an Australian Green Star Accredited Professional and a NABERS Accredited Assessor.

Chris provides research and support to programs, including consultancy, reporting and training related to corporate social responsibility and sustainability
Chris has been the coordinator and project consultant for BEC's flagship Hong Kong Eco products Award and HSBC's Living Business Program since the latter's launch in 2005. He has contacted and assessed more than 200 organisations of all sizes and sectors covering consultancy, site inspection, audit, assessment and hotline administration.
Chris also assists with a wide range of training programs and research support including the Hong Kong and China Gas's Site Practices Handbook and Hong Kong Trade Development Council's Getting Green – Growing Demands in Overseas Markets.

Konnie provides consultancy and related services in environmental benchmarking, waste management, auditing, and training to clients from various industrial sectors. She mainly supports the programmes undertaken by the Environmental Sustainability team such as Hong Kong Awards for Industries and Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence. Currently she involves in a TID SME Development Fund Project, which aims to help SME manufacturers to enhance environmental excellence, 2007 Hong Kong Awards for Industries – Environmental Performance, a waste paper and plastics survey for Environmental Protection Department (EPD) etc.
Konnie holds a Master of Philosophy from the Department of Civil and Structural Engineering at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Prior to joining BEC, she was engaged in the environmental engineering field, particularly in design, testing, research and developments of acoustics, noise and vibration control products.

Bonnie prepares and coordinates the meeting schedule of various committees for Climate Change Business Forum (CCBF) including Patrons Committee, Executive Committee and Best Practice Committee. She also administers the broad range of events, logistics, registration and onsite management, in addition to database and Chinese language mattters.
Bonnie graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz in the Untied States. After working in various interior design companies, she has decided to devote herself in environmental development as her second career.

In her capacity as Communications Manager, Puanani supports Climate Change Business Forum (CCBF)’s Communications Committee and co-manages the Committee’s projects, assists in event management, facilitates internal and external communications and works with CCBF’s international partner organization, the Corporate Leaders Network for Climate Action.
Puanani has been actively involved with environmental and social issues since 2002, primarily as a journalist, researcher and advocate. Prior to joining CCBF, Puanani worked as a consultant for the US-based NGO Future 500, focusing on corporate responsibility and sustainability issues in China. In Hong Kong, she has worked with the Asia Water Project (now China Water Risk), the local chapter of the World Wide Fund for Nature and the Clinton Global Initiative Asia.
Puanani earned her BA in English Literature from Carleton College.
