We are pleased to invite you to a forthcoming knowledge-sharing event organised by Clean Air Network (“CAN”), with Business Environment Council (“BEC”) being a Strategic Partner. This complimentary session convenes cross‑sector stakeholders – building owners, facility managers, HVAC engineers, healthcare operators, ESG professionals, solution providers, and representatives from education, health and public welfare to exchange practical, field‑tested indoor air quality solutions tailored to Hong Kong’s climate and building stock. Focusing on no‑regrets measures that protect occupant health while supporting building decarbonisation, the programme highlights real‑time monitoring and smart‑building approaches, source control and ventilation upgrades, and scalable filtration and maintenance strategies that are cost‑effective for both large portfolios and resource‑limited community organisations.

Objectives

• Share field-tested best practices for source control, ventilation upgrades, and filtration maintenance that improve both indoor air quality and occupant wellbeing
• Show how IAQ metrics and interventions can be integrated into ESG reporting and policy instruments to strengthen environmental and wellbeing outcomes
• Explore scalable approaches to support IAQ improvements in schools, social housing, eldercare, and community centres, with a focus on health and wellbeing
• Build cross-sector partnerships between building owners, facility managers, educators, social-service providers, and policymakers to pilot and scale healthy indoor air solutions
