Mr Kelvin Li
Strategy & Business Development Director, Schneider Electric Hong Kong 

Kelvin Li is an executive leader who holds nearly 20 years of experience in power utility, energy consultancies, and energy corporations. Currently serving as Director of Strategy and Business Development at Schneider Electric, Kelvin boasts expertise spanning across strategy planning, market analysis, business development, transaction services, investment advisory, and stakeholder engagement.

At Schneider Electric, Kelvin formulates corporate strategies to drive business growth by leveraging innovative technologies in the energy industry. His other responsibilities include developing business by engaging key project stakeholders and managing key accounts in the segments of utilities, real estate, and healthcare organizations. Kelvin started his career as a Graduate Trainee at CLP and worked across the entire power value chain. He has also served in reputable strategy consulting firms such as Poten & Partners, The Lantau Group, and Advisian, delivering over 30 advisory projects for top-notch corporations worldwide. His career and education experiences cover London, Rotterdam, Boston, Chicago, Singapore, and Hong Kong.

Kelvin holds three master’s degrees – MPA from Harvard University, MBA from London Business School, and MSc from The University of Hong Kong. He was selected to attend The Prince of Wales's Business & Sustainability Programme at Cambridge University. He also got the designation as an Energy Risk Professional (ERP) in 2019.

 

 

 

Ms Anita Varshney
Global Vice President, Strategy SAP S/4HANA Sustainability, SAP

Anita is passionate about sustainable change and transformation, enabling companies to successfully execute on their ESG strategies. She brings forward a systems thinking mindset, looking at solving challenges across climate, circular and ESG reporting. She is engaged in the dynamic landscape of global ESG reporting and standards, ensuring customers have the right technologies, to steer their companies, following the different standards and regulations.

Previously she has led SDG Ambition project, which was launched at World Economic Forum 2020, in collaboration with UN Global Compact and Accenture. The program is aimed at implementing ambitious business strategies that significantly increase companies positive impact on the SDGs. It challenges companies to set bolder goals aligned with their purpose, governance and strategy and address barriers to speed and scale with enterprise-wide integration that hardwires the SDGs into business management, business processes, and information technology landscapes.

Previously she has delivered digital transformation consulting projects and implemented SAP products into customer’s end-end company processes across different sectors.

She also believes in empowering future female leaders and supporting communities like Women In Sports Empowered Hong Kong, She Loves Data and Global Women Connect (GWC).

 

 

 

Mr Travis Kan
Head of Digital Solutions, CLPe Group 

Travis Kan possesses over 20+ years’ experience in the energy industry with various roles, from Engineering to Sales & Marketing, Strategy & Business Development to General Management. With the vision to empower the development of a more sustainable city in Hong Kong, Travis drives digitization and decarbonization development via strategic initiatives and partnership. Being the trusted partner to deliver energy & infrastructure solutions for a sustainable future, Travis work closely with end-users, consultants, and suppliers, deploying latest innovation & technology to Hong Kong.

Prior to re-joining CLP, Travis worked with global leading companies e.g. General Electric, and Schneider Electric, acquiring a comprehensive pool of solid experience in power generation, transmission & distribution, control & automation, energy management, Internet-of-things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology.

 

 

 

Prof Davis Bookhart
Director, Sustainability / Net-Zero Office, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology 

Davis Bookhart is the founding director of HKUST’s Sustainability / Net-Zero Office, which is responsible for implementing the university’s comprehensive sustainability master plan across operations, research, and academics. The Office houses the Life-Cycle Lab, the Sustainable Smart Campus as a Living Lab initiative, and the Jockey Club Sustainable Campus Consumer Programme, which extends to all eight universities in the HK Sustainable campus Consortium.  Bookhart also teaches classes on sustainability management and sustainability thinking, both of which develop skills and mental frameworks for solving complex 21st century problems.

Bookhart came to HKUST after eight years as the founding director of the Office of Sustainability at Johns Hopkins University, following a role as senior project director of the Consumer Energy Council of America. Bookhart holds a master’s degree in International Affairs from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and a master’s of American Literature from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

 

 

 

Mr Raymond Leung 
Chief Technical Officer, Huawei International Co. Limited

Raymond Leung is currently the Chief Technical Officer of Huawei International Co. Limited.  He is a strategy leader with board experience in defining and implementing strategic plans to capture the growth opportunities of digital transformation. Prior to working with Huawei, Raymond has been associated with reputed organizations such as Schneider Electric to deliver advance digital solution and energy management platform in the market.  He has also played a key role in establishing overall setups in Mainland China and secured multiple contracts at Siemens.  Throughout his working experience in different countries, Raymond has demonstrated a proven track record and dedicated to work in the past 30 years. Raymond is a control and instrumentation engineer and a Bachelor in Engineering from the University of Hong Kong.

Ir C.F. Leung
Director – Operations, Business Environment Council

Ir Leung currently is the Director – Operations of BEC. Ir Leung has spearheaded the development of sustainable buildings by leading and providing consultancy services on a large number of green building initiatives and providing training to building professionals. He also works on waste-related projects by providing waste management and audit services for building sector and community events.

Ir Leung has also been involved in formulating and executing several renowned environmental award programmes, including the Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence, the HSBC Living Business Awards, and the BOCHK Corporate Environmental Leadership Awards.

Prior to joining BEC, he worked in an international consultancy firm and an acoustic specialist company, where he gained solid experience in project management and execution of infrastructure projects.

Ir Leung is currently Chairman of the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management Hong Kong Branch. He was appointed a Green Building Faculty Member and Chairman of the IEQ Expert Panel.
