BEC and Sino Group jointly present an industry visit to The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel, located on the southside of Hong Kong Island and opened doors to guests in mid 2022. As the first hotel project in Hong Kong and Mainland China receiving the internationally acclaimed WELL v2™ accreditation, the hotel is committed to sustainability and guests’ well-being. Join us on 24 February (Friday) to explore the sustainability journey of this oceanfront luxury resort.
Visit Highlights:
- Learn more about how the hotel creates a better tomorrow through its sustainability practices, which are incorporated into all aspects of its business operations, e.g. the use of smart water refill stations to replace plastic bottled water provided for guests
- Walk along a path paved with EcoBricks - a sustainable construction material upcycled from all the seven types of plastic waste, presenting a viable circular economy solution to urban solid waste
- Learn about CORAL REEFStoration, the first cross-sectorial coral conservation project in Hong Kong
- Visit Farm by the Ocean, the 19th farm of the Group’s Farm Together initiative, to plant the seeds for sustainability and bring the community closer to nature
- By the end of the tour, participants are welcome to exchange views and ideas with the Sino team and other participants during the networking session
