BEC was awarded with the “Caring Organisation Logo” (2011-12) by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) in recognition of our commitment in caring for the community, for the employees and for the environment over the previous years. The award manifests our relentless effort and achievement in advocating environmental excellence through partnering with the government, business and community to address environmental concern.
Looking ahead, BEC will continue to contribute to society by advocating environmental protection amongst our members and the broader community, the uptake of clean technologies and practices which reduce waste, conserve resources, prevent pollution, and improve the environment. It is our vision that Hong Kong’s businesses will be recognised as leaders in practising and enabling environmental protection, and in contributing to the transition to a low carbon economy.
