With the passing of the Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) Charging by the Legislative Council and its expected launch date in the second half of 2023, all businesses will be affected and are expected to make preparatory actions.

The scheme intends for businesses and the general public to reduce their solid waste. While recycling efforts have improved in Hong Kong, it alone will not solve the waste crisis unless businesses start to implement more circular practices, such as mitigating single-use plastics. The general public is also dependent on businesses to enable more circular consumption practices.

With this, we welcome you to participate in the upcoming BEC Leadership Networking Series. Hear from our speakers from the F&B industry and explore how their best practices and solutions can be applied to your industry and transform your business into a more circular model.
